2024 • The Adventure Begins
What started as an idea around a table at The Willamettans became reality on the Alvord Desert in 2024. People from five states gathered on the wide-open playa for a weekend of friendship, freedom, and unforgettable scenery. None of us knew exactly what to expect, but by the end of the weekend, we knew NiTN had become something worth continuing.
2025 • Weather Had Other Plans
Our second adventure never happened—but not for lack of planning. Severe weather closed access to the playa, forcing us to cancel the event for everyone's safety. While disappointing, it reminded us that nature always has the final say. The friendships remained, and we immediately began planning for the future.
2026 • Back to the Playa
Three years after the idea was born—and after one canceled year—we returned to the Alvord Desert stronger than ever. Forty-two participants from seven states came together to share meals, laughter, breathtaking scenery, glowing sunsets, games, and unforgettable memories. More than just a campout, it became a gathering of friends old and new, proving that the spirit of Nude in the Northwest is built on community.
